Good for you mang. I hope you two have a great time together. You do have a responsibility to make sure he's not someone's lost dog, and there are many ways you can do this. Shelters, vets, posted signs, etc. Hopefully it's not the case, because it seems you've found a great companion, however if he belongs to someone you may have to start looking for another. Just had to say it.

If there is an owner then fuck he/she, they should be reported. He said you can obviously tell it wasn't being cared for.

                          Good Job!!!

Animals be pretty awesome, From the dogs we have fostered they're so loving and only want that same affection in return.
My GF is a Volunteer for Heart2Heart non-profit small dog rescue/adoption, and would love to hear about this cute story. Thanks for sharing and doing a good deed.

P.S. Before you get too attached, your local vet can scan him for a micro chip just incase he got lost from his owner. We found a starved basset hound and just as we started to get attached to him, a routine visit to the vet found that he had an owner through his microchip. The owner of course wanted the dog back and had just happen to give up searching after a month of him being missing with no leads.

That's so great to see! We rescued my pup too, and it's a great feeling to know you likely saved a life. I agree that it looks like he is young and did not have an owner for long, if at all. But like others said, vet first and make sure he's all yours!
